Physiotherapist for the Rheumatology Clinic

The Physiotherapy Specialist Care in Gästrikland is responsible for providing physiotherapy to inpatients and outpatient patients within specialist care at Gävle Hospital, Tullhuset, and Sandviken Hospital.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with rheumatic disorders. A strong focus will be on helping patients with physical activity and exercise, as well as pain relief treatments and education on approaches to manage chronic illness. Your work will also include driving development within your area. You will primarily work in outpatient care, but you will share the responsibility with other physiotherapy specialists to staff inpatient care during periods such as vacations.

• work in a team around the patient with other professionals at the rheumatology clinic.

For this position, it is advantageous if you have experience working in rheumatology and specialized outpatient care or primary care.
