District Nurse at Färila-Los Health Center

At Färila-Los Health Center, we are about 20 employees responsible for approximately 4000 registered patients. We provide primary care with a doctor's office, district nurse clinic, home visits, child health care, psychosocial team, occupational therapy, and physiotherapy. We also have a specialist clinic for diabetes and asthma/COPD patients. All primary care professions are under one roof here. We are a great team that collaborates across boundaries, and we have fun at work!

RESPONSIBILITIES

The role of the district nurse involves great flexibility with varied and stimulating tasks, working together with other professional categories for the benefit of our shared patients. You will work in a team with a dedicated and supportive group consisting of district nurses, doctors, clinic nurses, child health care nurses, diabetes nurses, and nursing assistants in our lab.

As a district nurse with us, you will work with:

• telephone counseling
• clinic work, planned and acute
• preventive health care
• home visits and care planning.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a flexible and committed person who thrives in close collaboration with all health center professions in a varied everyday life. You are interested in development and improvement work and are confident in your professional role, and you have the ability to meet people in a professional and empathetic manner.

In the role of district nurse, you should:

• be a licensed nurse with district nurse training
• hold a valid B driver's license.

For this position, it is an advantage if you have experience working in primary care and if you have professional experience as a district nurse.
