Operating Nurse at Central Operation in Hudiksvall

The Central Operation in Hudiksvall consists of the units outpatient surgery/UVA, surgery, and the sterilization center. We are a round-the-clock operation that performs both planned and emergency procedures within anesthesia and surgical care. Together, we provide service to all departments at Hudiksvall Hospital.

In the operating room, nursing assistants, surgical nurses, anesthesia nurses, and anesthesiologists work together. We now need to strengthen our team with an additional surgical nurse.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a surgical nurse in the operating department, you will be part of a team of knowledgeable and dedicated colleagues from various professions. We offer a varied and stimulating job where the patient is always the focus.

As a surgical nurse with us, you will, among other things:

• work with surgeries in several different specialties such as surgery, orthopedics, and gynecology, with both children and adult patients

QUALIFICATIONS

In the role of surgical nurse, you should:

• be a licensed nurse with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare
• have completed further education in surgery (surgical nurse)
• have language skills in Swedish at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale, which may also mean passing grades in Swedish 3 or Swedish as a second language 3, or passing results in a course in Swedish for non-Nordic students equivalent to 60 credits.
