The psychiatric reception is responsible for conducting interventions in open psychiatric care that promote health and increase quality of life. The treatment methods must be evidence-based and the range of services must be diverse. The operations should be characterized by good reception, high accessibility, and good results. You will work in a team consisting of doctors, psychologists, nurses, social workers, caregivers, rehabilitation coordinators, and medical secretaries. The receptions consist of several different teams which offers opportunities to adapt tasks based on specific competencies and interests to specialize.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a specialist doctor with us, you will work in a modern, digital environment where you meet patients via video and chat. You will have the same role in your team as physical doctors on site, which means you have the overall medical responsibility for patient work within your team. You lead and support the clinical work, ensure medical quality, and contribute to the development of a safe, learning, and patient-centered care environment. Together with your team, you will develop the structure needed for you to be perceived as present to both the team and for educational doctors.

You will work digitally with ten weeks physically on site, evenly distributed throughout the year in consultation with the reception.

As a specialist doctor, you will work with:

  • investigation
  • treatment
  • rehabilitation
  • standard tasks for a psychiatric outpatient clinic
  • on-call work during the weeks you are physically on site.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a strong interest in medical development work and patient safety issues. You contribute to a positive work climate and have the drive to work independently. You should also have a good ability to use technical equipment. Since a large part of the work at the reception is team-based, there are high demands on interaction with colleagues and other professions, which is why good collaboration skills and humility are valuable personal traits. Since you will primarily work digitally, you need to have developed communication skills to be present even in digital forums.

In the role of specialist doctor, you should:

  • be a trained specialist doctor in psychiatry
  • have good IT skills
  • have good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing.

It is an advantage if you have relevant clinical experience, have previously worked with digital healthcare meetings, and have documented experience in supervision/teaching.

Before an employment offer, an acceptable extract from the police criminal record must be presented. You will also fill out a health declaration.
