The Social Services Administration, with approximately 1275 employees, encompasses five areas of operation. These are regular housing, special housing, LSS and social psychiatry, HSL and short-term accommodations, as well as management support.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nurse with us, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the elderly and make a real difference in their daily lives. You will be part of municipal health and medical care within elderly care, placed in special housing (SÄBO), where person-centered care and teamwork are at the center. You will have great freedom to plan your daily work based on the medical responsibility for the residents and work closely with care staff and other professionals. The assignment includes mentoring care staff, distributing and coordinating care work, maintaining continuous contact with relatives, as well as working with preventive health efforts, assessment, and management of acute conditions. Documentation is done in the data journal system Lifecare HSL, and working hours are mainly during the day, with duty every sixth weekend.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed nurse. If you have further education in district, elderly, or psychiatric care, this is an advantage. You preferably have several years of experience in the nursing profession and are confident in your professional role, allowing you to independently make medical decisions and handle various situations that arise in elderly care. In this role, it is required that you can work independently and be a team player. Since the assignment involves mentoring care staff, it is important that you have good pedagogical skills, are attentive, and available to the staff. As a person, you are structured, can prioritize your work, and have a good demeanor. A driver's license is a requirement, as driving is included in connection with weekend duties. We will place great emphasis on personal qualities and suitability.
