Description
Do you want to use your HR expertise where it truly makes a difference?
Are you working in HR at a qualified level and looking for the next step in a role where you can take on significant responsibility, work broadly, and contribute to the development of an organization in change? Then this could be the right assignment for you.
We are now looking for an experienced HR consultant for the HR unit in Ljusdal Municipality – a central function with an important mission to support and develop our managers and operations!
As an HR consultant with us, you will have an independent and advisory role where you work both strategically and operationally across the entire HR area. You will be a qualified support to managers in both everyday and more complex personnel issues and represent the municipality as an employer. With us, you will have the opportunity to work broadly, develop your knowledge, and at the same time contribute your experience in an organization where HR has a clear and important role.
The HR unit is placed under the Municipal Executive Office and works closely with all of the organization’s operations. Together, we strengthen and develop the HR support for the managers in Ljusdal Municipality.
Responsibilities
The role of HR consultant involves varied and qualified work within the entire personnel area. You will work closely with managers and provide consultative support in matters concerning, among other things, work environment, rehabilitation, labor law, interpretation of laws and agreements, and individual cases. An important part of the assignment is to represent the employer in, for example, union negotiations and to contribute to a professional and uniform employer approach throughout the organization.
The work also includes recruitment, salary reviews, and competence supply, as well as planning and conducting internal training within the HR area to strengthen managers’ knowledge and ability in their employer responsibilities. Based on your experience and interest, there is an opportunity to specialize in specific areas, such as work environment, salary formation, rehabilitation, or competence supply.
You will collaborate with many different parties, both internally in the organization and externally, such as trade unions and occupational health services. Within HR, there is also a shared HR support staffed by HR consultants according to a rotating schedule.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is a trained human resources professional or has another academic education that the employer assesses as equivalent. You should also have at least three years of current experience in qualified and independent HR work. Experience in HR work within public or municipal operations is an advantage.
As a person, you are self-driven, responsible, and confident in your assessments. You have a consultative, professional, and solution-oriented approach, as well as a good ability to collaborate and build trusting relationships. You are structured, flexible, and easily adapt to the needs of the organization. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. To succeed in the role, you also need to have good communication skills in both spoken and written language, as well as good knowledge of the Office suite. A driver's license is an advantage.
