In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and further developing the business unit's sustainability strategy in line with the company's environmental management system. You will work both operationally and strategically with quality, monitoring, and continuous improvements related to our harvesting and planning processes. You will be part of our specialist team Harvesting Support, where you will have a broad network and collaborate closely with both internal and external stakeholders.

The role includes, among other things, that you:

  • Coordinate and manage quality and sustainability work in line with the environmental management system
  • Identify, analyze, and follow up deviations and support the business in follow-ups and root cause analyses
  • Ensure a qualitative implementation of instructions, routines, and working methods within harvesting and planning processes
  • Lead and develop improvement work and be responsible for related KPIs
  • Plan and conduct training within relevant processes
  • Investigate and follow up environmental incidents in the reporting system IA
  • Participate in internal and external audits

We offer an exciting and varied job with significant responsibility where you can contribute to development and improvement within our forestry operations. Your office placement will be at one of our offices within the business area, and you will report to the Harvesting Support Manager.

Who are we looking for

We are looking for someone who, with your experience and commitment, strengthens and develops the work within one or more of our focus areas; biodiversity, carbon dioxide, land use, and communities and social responsibility. You are motivated by communicating, spreading knowledge, and driving business development.

Skills and qualifications we believe you have:

  • Academic education in forestry, environment, or quality, or equivalent years of work experience
  • Good knowledge and strong interest in natural and cultural environments
  • Good understanding of timber flows and forestry operations
  • Ability to work in a structured, analytical, and independent manner
  • A pedagogical and communicative strength, preferably with experience in conducting training
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • Driving license B
