The Business Development Unit of Ockelbo Municipality is a resource for businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs – a meeting place for all business-related questions. We work for a good business climate and the municipality's attractiveness to strengthen growth. The unit is small and handles many types of questions, both strategic and operational. The focus is on entrepreneurs, aspiring entrepreneurs, tourism, the visitor industry, relocation, establishment, and rural development. The unit reports to the municipal executive board, led by a business development manager who guides the work towards set goals.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a business developer for a temporary position at 40% for four months (February-May 2026).

In this role, you will work with issues related to businesses, entrepreneurship, project administration, and relocation. The assignment is varied and independent, involving both operational and coordinating tasks.

Main responsibilities include:

• Project administration and various initiatives related to projects and collaboration.
• Participation in work related to relocation and attractiveness.
• Support for individuals who want to start their own business.
• Contacts and collaboration with businesses, organizations, internal and external stakeholders.
• Communication and information dissemination within the area of responsibility.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a high school education focused on business or economics or other education that the employer deems equivalent. You have experience working with administration and project-related tasks.

As a person, you are structured and solution-oriented and have good communication skills in both spoken and written form.

We place great emphasis on your personal qualities. The role involves many contacts and requires a good sense of service. You need to be able to easily create and maintain good relationships, be flexible, and enjoy varied tasks.

A driver’s license (B) is required for the position.

In the final selection, great importance will be placed on your personal qualities.
