Your Role

As a Publication Engineer for Saab 340, 2000, T7, and GlobalEye, you will develop maintenance manuals that ensure optimal performance for our global fleet. Your role is crucial for the highest safety standards and efficiency.

You will work both in a team and independently to gather, process, and compile information in a clear and structured manner. All technical information is produced in Simplified Technical English (STE) based on technical documentation.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Create manuals in our publication systems, focusing on the T7's fuselage. The work also includes other products.
  • Act as a link between developers and users and work with structured technical information.
  • Search for information in databases, read drawings, and technical documentation.

You will be part of a team of about 30 people working on manuals for GlobalEye, T7, and Saab's civil aircraft.

Your Profile

We are looking for a technical writer, preferably with a technical background:

  • Technical education or equivalent experience.
  • Several years of experience as a technical writer.
  • Strong interest and understanding of technology.
  • Experience with Simplified Technical English, XML, SGML, iSpec 2200, and/or S1000D.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
  • Good collaboration skills and easy to establish contacts.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to convey complex technical concepts simply.
