Saab Dynamics is in a development phase where our commercial work is taking the next step. We are now looking for Commercial Managers who want to help build a new function and contribute to business with significant technical complexity and societal benefit.

Your role

As a Commercial Manager in the newly formed department of Commercial & Contract Management Dynamics, you will play a crucial role in developing and strengthening Saab's commercial work. The role involves close collaboration with business units and OPC to ensure common, effective practices in tendering, risk assessment, and contract management.

You will contribute to the development and implementation of processes, methods, and tools that enhance quality, profitability, and risk awareness in our business. You will also have the opportunity to help shape a new department that has a significant impact on the continued development of Dynamics.

Depending on your background and expertise, you will work with one or more of the following areas:

• Develop and strengthen the central commercial function within Dynamics
• Evaluate and implement digital tools that support commercial work
• Work with commercial regulations, such as the FMV agreement
• Develop and manage processes, methods, and guidelines for tender and contract work
• Enhance capabilities in risk management, profitability assessment, and business calculations
• Contribute to training initiatives, experience sharing, and knowledge dissemination within the organization
• Collaborate with business units and OPC to develop common commercial practices

The location for the role is Karlskoga or Linköping, depending on your starting point. Travel may occur in the position. You will report to the Head of Commercial & Contract Management.

Your profile

Commercial & Contract Management Dynamics is under construction, and we are looking for someone who wants to help develop a strong and professional commercial function. You are communicative, collaborative, and have good analytical skills. You thrive in a role with many contact points and have a business-oriented approach.

To succeed in the role, we see that you have:

• Academic degree in economics, law, engineering, or another relevant field
• Experience in commercial work, contract negotiation, and/or contract management
• Good understanding of risk assessment, profitability, and business calculations
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred qualifications include experience in:

• Complex and preferably international operations
• Change management and development of processes and practices
• Digitalization and implementation of new tools, preferably AI-supported
• Saab's operations, products, and commercial practices

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
