Staff Assistant

We are now looking for a staff assistant who wants to work in a dynamic environment and enjoys supporting managers and staff in daily administrative tasks. As a staff assistant, you contribute with order, structure, and support that strengthens the unit's capability.

Main Responsibilities

As a staff assistant, you support the chief of staff and other parts of the staff primarily with administrative tasks. You work with a holistic view and participate in the preparation, implementation, and follow-up of meetings and briefings.

Examples of tasks:

  • Drafting documents and minutes
  • Making bookings and orders
  • Updating and managing collaboration platforms
  • Supporting preparations and compiling materials
  • Following up and structuring administrative routines and workflows

The work is varied and developing. The role offers good opportunities to develop the organization and its routines.

Qualifications

  • Current and relevant experience in administrative work
  • Approved secondary education
  • Experience working with information flows and various communication systems
  • Driving license B
  • Good IT skills

Meritorious

  • Experience from a government agency or public administration
  • Previous service in the Swedish Armed Forces
  • Experience with SharePoint
  • Completed and approved military basic training
  • Completed Staff Service Training

Personal Qualities

We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a service-oriented manner and has good multitasking abilities. You are keen to structure and plan your work. We see that you have the ability to manage and reprioritize under changing conditions. You are proactive and enjoy working both independently and in a team. You have good collaboration skills and find it easy to create and maintain relationships.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

The employment is a full-time permanent position that begins with a 6-month probationary period for those who do not already work within the Swedish Armed Forces. The position includes an international work obligation and a duty to be assigned to military service.
