Regionservice is now offering a varied and challenging assignment as a coordinator for crisis preparedness and civil defense. Regionservice provides services to the operations of Region Örebro County and is in an exciting and strategically important phase in the development of our administration's work with crisis preparedness and civil defense. We are located in new office premises in the Region House centrally in Örebro and in close proximity to the Travel Center.

The broad activities of Regionservice contribute to facilitating the work for everyone within Region Örebro County. Our approximately 1000 employees work with IT support and development, real estate, meals, logistics and cleaning services, medical technology, procurement, and administration. In the role of coordinator, you will drive the development of Regionservice's crisis preparedness and civil defense. This may involve developing governing documents in the area, continuity management, and method support for crisis management. The aim is to increase our ability to handle societal disturbances and ultimately war. The work also includes collaborating with partners on relevant issues within the various administrations in Region Örebro County and with external actors on the issues for which Regionservice is responsible. This means that travel within the region will occur as part of the job. The position is security classified, and a security review according to the Security Protection Act will precede the hiring decision.

We are looking for someone with relevant education at the academic level or other experience that we consider equivalent. You have good knowledge of current legislation and other governing documents in the area. You have experience working in projects and assignments as well as driving and coordinating development work. You should have a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing and be accustomed to writing and preparing materials and reports. As a person, you have a good ability to work independently with your own drive. You complete your assignments with good quality within the allocated time frames. You have good problem-solving skills and the ability to work comprehensively, strategically, and goal-oriented. You find it easy to build trust through collaboration, being unpretentious, and having good communication skills with others. We place great importance on personal qualities. It is an advantage if you have experience working with issues related to the responsibilities of regions or municipalities in crisis preparedness and civil defense matters.
