As the business grows and deliveries depend on having the right competence in the right place, recruitment becomes crucial. At BAE Systems Bofors in Karlskoga, recruitment is ongoing for both production-related roles and white-collar positions across several parts of the organization. The HR team is now being strengthened with an additional recruiter who will be part of an established and well-functioning HR team.

A Role Close to the Business – in a Strong HR Team

In this role, you will work closely with hiring managers in production, engineering, and other functions. The focus is on recruiting production-related roles, but the assignment also includes white-collar positions. You will be part of an engaged HR team with several recruiters and other HR functions, where collaboration, knowledge sharing, and shared responsibility characterize the everyday work. The team works in a structured manner and closely with the business, with a strong connection to the organization and solid support among colleagues.

Recruitment is a central function in the business, and you will work in an environment where staffing and competence supply are directly linked to production rates and delivery capability.

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Developing and anchoring requirement profiles together with hiring managers
• Writing and publishing job advertisements tailored to the target group
• Working with selection and ongoing candidate dialogue
• Conducting interviews
• Being responsible for reference checks and quality assurance before hiring and when taking over consultants
• Contributing to some HR administration related to recruitment and consulting processes as well as union contacts when needed

The role requires a structured approach and a good ability to quickly understand the needs of the business. At the same time, comfort in meeting candidates, consultants, and managers with different backgrounds and experiences is a central part of the assignment.

Who This Role is Suitable For

This assignment is aimed at you who have a few years of experience in recruitment, preferably with a focus on industry, production, or other business-related environments. Experience working with both blue-collar roles and white-collar positions is advantageous, as well as experience in consultant management or working in organizations where both employees and consultants are included.

You are used to working independently but thrive in contexts where collaboration with managers, HR colleagues, and other functions is a natural part of the work. Good communication skills, a structured approach, and the ability to build trust are central aspects of the role. Swedish and English are used in daily work.

BAE Systems Bofors is a high-tech company that develops and integrates weapon systems. The company has about 700 employees and is located in Karlskoga, Karlstad, and Örebro. There is extensive collaboration with subcontractors in the local area. The main products manufactured include artillery pieces, naval guns, intelligent ammunition, and remotely operated weapon systems.
