The surgical department conducts emergency and planned activities within outpatient and inpatient care. We are a county administration where USÖ, Karlskoga, and Lindesberg collaborate. The administration is a central function in the operation that ensures that the administrative processes work. We are now looking for a new colleague for the administration at USÖ who, together with an experienced workgroup, will work with regular tasks at the surgical clinic, with the majority of tasks directed towards inpatient care and wards. We are a team that collaborates with our various assignments within the administration.

The surgical department has a close collaboration between the county's three hospitals. The area has a county assignment for emergency and planned surgical care, and we also provide some highly specialized care for out-of-county patients. There are 350 employees within various units such as outpatient clinics, wards, surgery, and secretariat. Planned healthcare is increasingly located in Karlskoga and Lindesberg, and similarly, tumor and trauma activities are located in Örebro. Within the department, active development work is conducted with a focus on the patient throughout the care process.

Örebro University Hospital (USÖ) is one of the county's three emergency hospitals where we provide advanced healthcare, research, and education. In both 2020 and 2019, USÖ received the prestigious award for Best University Hospital from Dagens Medicin. USÖ won the most significant category for medical quality, had the best results in the categories of accessibility, economy, as well as the category of avoiding pressure sores and overcrowding. USÖ also tops the results in the areas of heart, kidney failure, and vascular surgery. USÖ has approximately 3500 employees. Medical care administrator training, medical secretary training, or medical secretary education is a requirement.

We are looking for someone who has good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form.
