Legal Coordinator at the Tenants' Association

We are now looking for a legal coordinator for the Tenants' Association, based in the Mitt region or Aros-Gävle.
Your Mission
As a legal coordinator within the Tenants' Association's legal operations, you play a central role in ensuring an efficient, legally secure, and member-focused handling of legal matters. You work with the member at the center and contribute to providing qualified legal guidance and information on issues related to their housing.
In this role, you prepare cases within the legal operations and serve as an important link between members, opposing parties, lawyers, and case handlers. You are responsible for managing the regions' feedback within the legal operations and independently handle individual cases. If necessary, you also represent members in the rent tribunal.
You provide support to the chief lawyer in ongoing work and contribute to the development and streamlining of routines within the area of work. The role also includes contacts with members, authorities, and courts, as well as other administrative tasks.
As a legal coordinator, you may also respond to media inquiries, assist with factual and relevant materials, and participate in interviews and other media contexts as needed within your area of work.
You will be part of the Tenants' Association's legal operations in the Mitt region and Aros-Gävle, working closely with colleagues in both regions.
Your Background
We are looking for someone with a legal educational background and experience in handling or preparing cases. You have a good ability to translate legal information into clear and relevant guidance for members.
You thrive in a role with many points of contact and find it easy to collaborate with different functions. To succeed in this role, you need to be flexible and have the ability to see the big picture while working in a structured manner in your daily tasks. Your communication skills are important, both in meetings with members and in internal and external collaboration.
We are looking for someone who:
Qualifications:
- Has relevant education in law of at least 180 credits.
- Has at least 2 years of experience in handling or preparing cases.
- Has good knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form.
Meritorious:
- Good knowledge of rental law.
- Experience in rent tribunal processes.
- Media experience.
- Experience working in a non-profit organization.
Personal Qualities:
You are flexible and adapt your working methods to changing conditions. You take responsibility for your own development and work selflessly in change. You have good communication skills in both spoken and written form and adapt your communication to the recipient and situation. You are collaborative and contribute to a good working atmosphere with a focus on common goals. Furthermore, you have a good overall perspective and understand how the organization's different parts are interconnected.
