Candles Scandinavia, with clients such as H&M, Åhléns, Lyko, Rituals, and more, is today a leading European supplier of scented candles produced with 100% plant-based, biodegradable wax, made from Swedish rapeseed. The company offers a sustainable and environmentally friendly alternative to the otherwise paraffin-dominated candle market where the raw material is derived from fossil fuels. The company's strength lies primarily in a cost-effective method for large-scale production of customized scented candles, entirely made from natural and eco-friendly wax. Candles Scandinavia operates in fresh and purpose-built premises centrally located in Örebro and currently has about 50 employees with a turnover of approximately 200 million SEK. In addition, a newly acquired German company, HashtagYou, is part of the group with an additional approximately 55 employees and a turnover of about 250 million SEK. Candles Scandinavia AB (publ) has been listed on Nasdaq First North Growth Market since November 2021.

About the Role
We continue to grow and need more people! As a Financial Assistant at Candles Scandinavia AB, you will be part of the group's finance function and report to the Finance & HR Manager. The role has a clear international aspect where you will work with financial administration for our German subsidiary.
We are looking for someone who has just completed a relevant education in finance or has a few years of experience in similar tasks. You will be offered a developing and varied role where you will gain a good understanding of the entire financial process. We believe that you can contribute new ideas and thoughts for the development of financial processes in an engaged and humble manner.
Main Responsibilities
- Responsible for accounts receivable and accounts payable for both the Swedish parent company and the group's German subsidiary
- Ongoing bookkeeping
- Reconciliations
- Participate in monthly and annual closing work
- Contribute to the preparation of internal and external reporting
- Involvement in audit work
- Participate in the streamlining of financial processes and reporting routines
- Participate in the development and improvement of our business system, Microsoft Dynamics Business Central
- Administrative HR tasks as the function also oversees the HR area
Qualifications
- Relevant financial education or a few years of experience in similar tasks
- Good knowledge of the Office suite, especially Excel
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Knowledge of German, both spoken and written, is a plus
