Personal Assistant Wanted in Bromma

I am looking for an assistant who is fun to be around since I am socially active with both friends and my assistants. I really enjoy music, concerts, moving around, and sports.

I understand everything you say, but I communicate using both PODD, body language, and a letter board. I am very clear in my communication and therefore seek someone who is attentive and clear in return. It is important for me that you speak Swedish so that we can understand each other.

I need help with everything in my daily life, such as dressing and undressing, hygiene, food, and communication. In addition, I also need support in my daily activities. I can walk by myself with the help of my assistants. On weekdays, I am at my daily activities and participate in a running group.

My assistance consists of double staffing most of the time, which means that you will work together with one of my other assistants. However, solo work may occur during vacancies. There are some simpler medical tasks involved since I have epilepsy. If you have previous experience with epilepsy, that is a plus.

I am looking for someone who is:

• Someone who listens to me.
• Someone who is fun and can joke around.
• Someone who can cook.
• Someone who can help me take responsibility at DV and at home.
• A plus if you can play an instrument, but the most important thing is that you have a passion for music like I do.
• Important to learn about my medications and how to administer them.
• Someone who can remain calm around me; if unsure, ask me or those you work with.
• Remember routines and tasks.
• Ask me if there is anything you wonder about.
• Come up with new activities and suggestions for me.
• Plan my days together with me.
• Someone who wants to stay long-term. I do not wish to change assistants all the time.
• Good if you are familiar with epileptic seizures.
• Remain calm when I have a seizure. Do not get stressed, hold me, and speak calmly.

About the position: You will be employed as needed and will work according to agreement. You may be studying or already working part-time and see this as a fun and educational extra job.

Working hours are: Weekdays day/evening, weekends day/evening, may change in exceptional cases due to activities.

Your workplace will be both at my home in Bromma and you will accompany me at work.

Salary: Fremia-Communal agreement, individual salary setting. To be employed, you must present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden.
