Job Description

We are looking for a social worker/counselor for the intermediate care who is interested in, together with team colleagues, developing the team and the qualified treatment and investigation work we carry out with children, young people, and their families. In the intermediate care, a team-oriented working method is offered, which means that several therapists, with different professions, work together around the patient and family. Investigation and treatment take place at the individual, family, and system levels. A significant part of the treatment work is carried out in families' home environments. The issues are usually complex and require more flexibility, adaptations, and a more intensive effort than in conventional outpatient work.

The intermediate care consists of dedicated employees with experience and high competence, and in an environment characterized by good collegial support. The main tasks as a counselor in the Intermediate Care consist of assessment, psychological treatment, and mapping of complex issues.

Teamwork is central, and there are many opportunities to influence the operations through knowledge and method development.

The clinic offers regular supervision, introductory programs, and a mentorship program. Improvement and development work is an ongoing part of our daily life, and we conduct teaching in several different fields in addition to research. Personal wishes for development are taken into account and encouraged, promoting the opportunity for growth, and opportunities for further education are vast.

About You

A degree in social work or equivalent education that the employer deems appropriate. We prefer that you are a licensed psychotherapist and have experience in child and adolescent psychiatry. Assessment and treatment work within psychiatric operations or with children, young people, and their families is meritorious.

A prerequisite for working in the Intermediate Care is that you enjoy working in a group and in close collaboration with colleagues and other actors around the patient. You need to be stable and able to handle a high degree of flexibility both in planning and in what happens in the moment. It is a clear advantage if you are a person who is stimulated by the challenge and opportunity it entails. The work is planned and organized independently but also very much in collaboration with colleagues, whereby personal ability to achieve a good structure and planning is preferred. We place great importance on personal maturity and suitability.

Much of the treatment work takes place in families' homes, so a severe allergy to pets may be a limiting factor in the performance of the service. Since the work takes place outside the office, a B driver's license is also required.
