About Tellusbarn
Tellusbarn operates 27 preschools with around 2,000 educational places and was founded in 2007. Tellusbarn has operations in ten municipalities in Stockholm County and Uppsala County. About the Preschool
We belong to Tellusbarn's cultural preschools – preschools filled with music, creativity, and drama. Here, children can express their creativity in all imaginable forms. For us, the creative process itself is important. In it, we awaken children's curiosity, discover new things, and stimulate interaction and imagination. The Cultural Preschool Symfonin is located in the heart of Sköndal's center, close to parks and green areas where children have plenty of space for exploration and play.
Job Responsibilities
As a childcare worker at the Cultural Preschool Symfonin, you will be an important part of our dedicated work team. You will help create a safe, creative, and educational environment where children's curiosity and forms of expression are at the center. You actively participate in the educational work by being a present and responsive educator. This requires that you are well acquainted with national governing documents and have experience working with both learning and care in preschool. In your work on a department, you will, together with colleagues, meet children and guardians with openness and tolerance, participate curiously in children's learning processes, and contribute to parent meetings, development discussions, onboarding, and various meeting forums with colleagues.
Qualifications
You have a vocational degree as a childcare worker and at least five years of documented experience. Excellent knowledge of Swedish.
Personal Attributes
You are a trained childcare worker with at least five years of experience and have an interest in further developing the work with your colleagues. You are passionate about children's development and learning and educational learning processes and are well-versed in the preschool's national governing documents and can connect these to the content and goals of education. You have a professional and warm approach to everyone at the preschool and prioritize building good relationships with both children, guardians, and colleagues. We are looking for a person with excellent knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. As a person, you see opportunities where others see problems, value good collaboration with children, guardians, and colleagues, and are engaged and loyal. Additionally, you enjoy having fun at work.
