Substitute Teachers for After-School Activities at JENSEN School Tungelsta

In the autumn of 2022, JENSEN School opened a brand new school in Tungelsta, Haninge municipality. The school is located in a beautiful rural setting with a small-town feel. We are now looking for substitute teachers for our after-school activities. As a leader in our after-school program, you will be active, outdoors every day, involved in the school's mission, and we work as a team with all staff across the school.

JENSEN's after-school activities are of high quality, focusing on stimulating children both intellectually and creatively. We work based on the curriculum and create safety and comfort for our students. You will be partially responsible for the operation and development of the after-school program. A holistic view of the child and the student's entire day linked to the curriculum's goals is of utmost priority. You will find yourself in a dynamic work environment where we work in teams.

Job Responsibilities

Working as a substitute teacher means supporting the operation when needs arise. This primarily involves short assignments that may suit you as a student or have other employment, but there may also be opportunities for longer employment for those who wish.

Qualifications

We are looking for after-school leaders with experience in daily contact with children and youth from preschool to grade 3. As a person, it is important that you have a strong interest and ability to help others. You are a secure and coaching person who is attentive and clear in your interactions. You are also proactive, pedagogical, and communicative, and you have the ability and willingness to be a leader in the classroom. In the role of substitute teacher, you work independently, but of course, in dialogue with a teacher and students at the school.

It is important to us that you are able to step in at short notice and are flexible with your hours.
