Do you want a meaningful job where you truly make a difference in someone's daily life? We are now looking for a personal assistant for a 40-year-old man in Mantorp who lives with ALS.
ABOUT THE CLIENT
The client is a social person with a great interest in computers, cars, and programming. He lives with his three children (10, 12, and 14 years old), his wife, and two dogs. Activities are appreciated according to the client's interests when health and weather permit.
He needs help with most daily tasks, including:
- PEG tube for food and medication
- Cough machine and respiratory assistance
- Transfers (with his own active participation)
The job also means that you will become an important part of a family life, but you also need to respect the client's need for personal time and privacy.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for someone who is:
- Physically strong and mobile, as no aids are currently used
- Independent, meticulous, and has a strong work ethic
- Attentive – you should be able to sense when it’s time to give space
- Not allergic to or afraid of dogs
- Comfortable in varying situations and preferably has care or assistance experience
It is an advantage if you are a woman, but not a requirement. A driver's license and car are beneficial but not mandatory.
