About the job

We are looking for someone who, together with your colleagues, will support preschools, after-school programs, and schools within the framework of our targeted initiatives. Through dialogue, you will support selected authorities and schools/preschools in their work to analyze and identify development needs as well as develop systematic quality work at various levels.

The support aims to improve the conditions for achieving educational goals and raising knowledge results, promote equity, and develop systematic quality work at various levels within the education system.

The work is largely done in collaboration with colleagues where you jointly take responsibility for the implementation and quality assurance of dialogues and agreements. The work is also independent where you need to take responsibility for completing your tasks with high quality within set frameworks. There may be periods of high workload and the job involves travel within the country.

You will work in our modern and spacious office in Solna Business Park. You may also have the opportunity to work up to 50% remotely.

In this job, you should have:

• a degree in pedagogy, political science, law, behavioral science, or another field that the Swedish National Agency for Education considers relevant,
• good knowledge of the governance system and regulations concerning preschools, schools, and municipal adult education,
• knowledge of and current practical experience of systematic quality work and school development within municipal and/or private preschool or school operations at least at two levels (operational level, school management level, authority level, regional and/or national level) based on national governing documents,
• current experience of driving school development work based on national governing documents,
• experience and good ability to guide and provide process-oriented support through dialogue in general didactic issues, governance and organizational issues, quality issues, and school law issues,
• good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish.

It is an advantage if you have knowledge of and experience working in schools in socio-economically disadvantaged areas or in rural areas. Experience of collaboration with other organizations, higher education institutions, and national networks in educational issues, as well as work in other school authorities is also advantageous.

• be respectful and curious in meetings and conversations,
• be analytical, proactive, and able to drive tasks to completion.
