At Middlepoint, we are now looking for someone who wants to work part-time at the reception of Karolinska University Hospital in Solna. This is a position through our parent company Coor, which manages the reception. Our vision is to deliver star-class service to a world-class hospital, and in this work, you are our most important resource. You will work in a service team of five people where collaboration and good communication are crucial for the work to run smoothly. The position involves a dynamic job where you move around a lot within the hospital area during the workday.
Your tasks include, among other things:
- Welcoming and directing patients and visitors in an efficient, needs-adapted, correct, and friendly manner. Administrative tasks, ordering taxis and transport services, and receiving and managing lost property. Distributing wheelchairs and searching for wheelchairs throughout the hospital area and returning them. Escorting visitors to and from departments. Acting in critical/emergency situations (for example, evacuation). Working in parallel operations such as service centers and conference services.
The role also includes taking personal responsibility for staying updated on the hospital's organization and Coor's agreements with the client. Together with your colleagues, you will continuously work on developing the reception's work, improving routines, and contributing to a good work environment.
Who are you?During your workday as a receptionist, you will have daily contact with patients, visitors, and healthcare staff. Therefore, it is important that you enjoy collaborating and treat everyone with the same kindness, attentiveness, and humility. You show adaptability and actively contribute to good cooperation.

Since the hospital environment can sometimes involve serious situations, it is important that you are confident in yourself and attentive to the needs of others. To succeed in the role, you need to have a well-developed ability to read both people and situations, quickly make decisions, and act accordingly.
Requirements for the position
- Fluent in Swedish and English; other language skills are a plus
- Experience in a similar role within a service profession with a focus on customer interaction
- Computer proficiency and good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
- Completed high school education
EmploymentEmployment type: Hourly employment Employment rate: As needed Conditions and expectations: There is a great need for extra work both during weekdays, evenings, and weekends. We would like you to be available to work about 3-4 days a week. You are expected to enter your availability in our scheduling app every week. Start: Immediately Reception hours: Monday - Friday 06:45-19:30 and Saturday - Sunday 09:15-17:30.
