Together, we make a difference!

As an employee within the Individual and Family Care sector, you are part of a happy and developing organization that values a good working environment and climate. You will receive active leadership and an accessible manager who helps you develop in your professional role and assists with prioritizing your casework. We are a modern organization that continuously develops to meet our residents' needs in the best way. We are located in fresh, bright, and newly renovated premises within walking distance to the train station, providing good transport links to both eastern and western Skåne. If this sounds appealing to you and you meet the criteria outlined below, we hope you will apply for the position.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As an LSS Case Officer, you will work under the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS) as well as the Social Services Act (SoL), primarily focusing on social psychiatry. The target group within LSS includes all ages, from children to adults, while the SoL targets individuals aged 18 and older.
With us, you will have another engaged colleague who investigates, decides, and follows up on interventions within the LSS area in the municipality. You will have close contact with a driven unit manager and an interested service organization. The unit includes colleagues from other authorities for adults, such as case officers in elderly care, addiction issues, social assistance, etc., who will help you settle in with us. We are committed to making the introduction as effective as possible and devote significant planning to meet your specific needs.
As an LSS Case Officer, you will meet users, service providers, relatives, and external partners. We consider it essential that dialogue works with all parties involved in the case; collaboration is fundamental, as is the ability to balance the role of the official, legislation, and applications from the individual or their relatives. We work from a holistic perspective with the individual's needs at the center (IBIC). We base assessments carefully and are committed to following up on interventions. To support your work, we hold regular team meetings, case discussions, and maintain close contact with both colleagues and the unit manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with a degree in social work. You should have good knowledge of current legislation and case law in the field, and preferably experience in public authority work within LSS and SoL.
As a person, you need to enjoy meeting different people and collaborating with others, possess high social skills, and be able to create clarity and build trust. A dignified and respectful approach is fundamental to your character, and significant importance will be placed on personal suitability.
You will work in the operational system Treserva and base your work on IBIC; prior knowledge of these is an advantage.
A driving license (B) is desirable.
