We are now looking for you at Nordström Assistans who has your heart in the right place and wants to enrich a person's life with special assistance.About the positionWe are currently seeking personal assistants for a woman in Höganäs. We are looking for someone who can work extra as needed, but in the long run, there is an opportunity to work approximately 50% with various working hours and days on the schedule. Your tasks will include supporting daily routines, assisting with certain lifts and transfers, personal hygiene, meals, and dressing and undressing.The working hours are currently scheduled as follows - but may be adjusted over time:Position 1:

  • Even weeks Monday 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM, Thursday 10:00 AM - 9:00 PM.

  • Odd weeks Monday 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM, Friday 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM, Sunday 6:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Position 2:

  • Even weeks Wednesday, Thursday 6:00 AM - 1:00 PM

  • Odd weeks Tuesday 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM, Saturday, Sunday 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM

Double assistance occurs between 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM. About the clientThe client is an active, social, and community-engaged woman in her 69s who enjoys spending time online where she connects with many in her network. The client speaks for herself, but you as an assistant will help with tasks such as typing on the computer while she dictates to you. Other interests include photography, gardening, and cooking, which you will assist her with. She believes that a good working environment and a good relationship between you are prerequisites for the collaboration to work in the best way. You should have a positive attitude towards the tasks and be able to adapt to the client's pace to best support her in everyday situations and to enable her to live a meaningful and fulfilling life according to her wishes.

About youAs a personal assistant with us, you play a crucial role in creating a safe and meaningful everyday life for our client. You will be an important part of their life and contribute to their independence and well-being. We believe that you who are applying for this position are a person who is attentive, positive, responsible, flexible, and cooperative. You should also be observant and able to gradually understand what the client needs support with. We prefer that you have good physical fitness so you can assist with transfers, as this is part of the job. The most important thing is that there is personal chemistry between you as the applicant and the client. This can become decisive in the final selection.You are required to

  • not smoke during working hours

  • master the Swedish language well in speech, reading comprehension, and writing

  • have good physical fitness as certain lifts and transfers occur

It is meritorious if you have 

  • experience working as a personal assistant or in care and nursing

  • a driver's license and access to a car to get to the workplace
