JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Our mission is to provide support and services according to the Social Services Act to our Hörby residents. We are a pleasant and highly engaged unit with a good atmosphere and high satisfaction. Our focus is to meet the future of elderly care; we want to think innovatively and try alternative working methods. Through flexibility and shared responsibility, we meet our users in an elderly care that faces an exciting future where we together need to find the best solutions based on demographic challenges, lessons learned from the pandemic, an increasing elderly population, and the possibilities of welfare technology. We ensure that the residents of Hörby can live and age safely in the municipality. We want motivated employees and a good balance between work and leisure.

In the role of social worker within care and support, your responsibilities include: Receiving applications, investigating and making decisions about interventions, and following up on decisions according to the Social Services Act. Collaborating internally and externally with, for example, healthcare and other authorities. Being involved in developing the unit's work.

QUALIFICATIONS

We place great importance on your personality and are looking for someone who enjoys working in a team as well as independently, and who likes to share their knowledge. To thrive in this role, you should have a knack for building relationships as you will have many points of contact, both internally and externally. We hope that you are curious and creative and enjoy development. The role requires a structured working method and good prioritization skills. You work legally secure and have very good communication skills in both speech and writing.

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work and preferably experience in assistance handling with the elderly target group. You enjoy working in a team with a focus on development as well as having variation in your tasks. You are open to new ideas and working methods that you want to share with us. You have good reasoning skills and enjoy working independently and solution-oriented. You easily build trust, have good collaboration skills, and are skilled at communicating clearly in both speech and writing. You are a secure and stable person who enjoys working in a structured manner and with personal responsibility. Experience with public authority functions in the documentation system Life Care is an advantage.

A driving license (B) is required.
