Working as a personal assistant requires personal maturity, sensitivity, and respect for another person's way of living their life.

The assistance users at JAG have different preferences regarding their assistants, so we do not set any specific requirements for education or experience; instead, we want to know who YOU are and what you believe you can contribute. In your application, you will have the opportunity to tell us about yourself and answer various questions to match you with the right assignment.

About the recruitment process: Your application will be visible to our assistance users and their personal supervisors. If you are selected, the supervisor will contact you for an interview. Before you start working, you will receive a paid introduction so you can feel secure in your assignment.

As part of our recruitment process, we always conduct a background check before employment. If you are offered a position with a minor client, you will also need to provide an extract from the police criminal record. You can apply for this yourself here: Police Authority (polisen.se) (https://polisen.se). It is important that you choose the criminal record that is for “Work with children with disabilities”.
