About the Position

Within the social care administration, about 1200 dedicated employees work to provide support and care to those in need in our municipality. The work takes place within elderly care, home care, disability services, social psychiatry, and individual and family care.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a committee secretary in the social committee, you are responsible for coordinating the administration's processes and supporting political decision-making. It is a broad and significant role with both strategic and operational responsibilities. You work closely with the chairperson of the social committee and are a reliable and knowledgeable contact for the administration and elected officials. The position also includes mail handling, registration, and archiving of the administration's documents.

In this role, you will work in the following systems in addition to the Office suite, Evolution, and Netpublicator.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have a strong interest in public administration and social issues and enjoy working in a politically governed organization. As a person, you are meticulous, structured, and responsible with a service-oriented approach. You can express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish and are clear in your communication. You should have documented experience working in a similar role in a municipal organization. Since the committee work is digital, you have both knowledge and experience in case management systems. You are self-driven and see development opportunities in your work.

We place great importance on your personal suitability.

We are looking for someone with a post-secondary education deemed relevant for the position. You should have good knowledge of the Local Government Act, the Administrative Procedure Act, and the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act. Experience working in the case management system Evolution is an advantage.

The position is a temporary contract until December 31, 2026.
