JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

About the role

As a municipal lawyer, you will work with legal issues in several areas of law, including municipal law, administrative law, contract law and procurement, public access and confidentiality, as well as IT and digitalization law. You will provide advice and support to departments and committees, conduct investigations, prepare decision-making materials for political decisions, and draft and review governing documents. You will educate and support colleagues and elected officials within your area of expertise. The role also involves assisting in legal processes and preparing statements to authorities.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a law degree
• Has excellent knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Has experience in qualified legal work, preferably from a politically governed organization.
• Has experience in educating and supporting others in legal matters
• Is self-driven, structured, and responsible.
• Has a service-oriented approach, good collaboration skills, and is clear in communication.
• Is flexible and can handle complex legal issues with analytical sharpness.
• Is pedagogical and interested in developing an organization and its people
• Personal suitability is highly valued.
