Hushållningssällskapet Skåne is an independent membership organization and one of 15 Hushållningssällskap in Sweden, with over 200 years of experience in developing the green industries and contributing to a sustainable and competitive countryside. We offer advice in agriculture, gardening, and forestry, conduct field trials and soil mapping, and develop digital solutions that strengthen the future of agriculture. Through our agricultural high schools, we educate the next generation of farmers and disseminate knowledge through courses, conferences, and networks. We also manage Bjärsjölagårds Castle and run development projects that translate research into practical benefits. As a communicator with us, you will play a key role in bringing knowledge to life. You will be part of the joint communications department of Hushållningssällskapet Skåne and HIR Skåne, working both strategically and operationally to plan, produce, and follow up on communication in our channels. All communication takes place in an agriculture-related context, where understanding the conditions of the green industries is central.

The role is broad and varied, suitable for someone who enjoys responsibility, self-drive, and creative work, while also appreciating close collaboration with colleagues from different parts of the organization. You are a skilled writer with excellent language skills in Swedish and English, possess good digital competence, and have an eye for detail. • Create and publish content for internal and external communication.

• Develop communication materials and support at fairs, seminars, and customer meetings (event communication).

• Create, implement, and follow up on communication plans.

• Be responsible for content production for our member magazine.

You thrive in a role where you can combine creative creation with structure and planning. You are self-driven and initiative-taking, easily collaborate, and are good at adapting messages to different target groups. You enjoy making things happen and see opportunities even when circumstances change.

• Relevant education in communication, media, or journalism.

• Very good ability to write and adapt text for different target groups.

• Good collaboration skills.

• Independent and initiative-taking, structured with good planning and prioritization skills, creative and solution-oriented.

We know that no one can do everything, but if you have interests or knowledge that complement the rest of the team, it is meritorious.

You are welcome to have:

• Experience in agriculture.

• Basic knowledge of graphic production.

• Experience in film and photography.

• Interest in digital channels and social media.

• Experience in project management.

Employment form: Permanent (starting with a 6-month probationary period)
