Your Responsibilities
As a sales and business developer at Germa, you play a key role in the company's continued growth. You work both strategically and operationally with sales and business development in close collaboration with your immediate manager and product development. You are responsible for sales to existing customers, distributors, markets, and business segments, as well as for developing new customers, distribution channels, and business areas. You follow up and report sales and key figures to the sales manager.
You work with customer quotes, customer relationships, and customer visits, and conduct product training and workshops. You represent Germa at trade shows and networking events and are involved in work with sales budgets, pricing strategies, and price lists. You also participate in product development and the creation of user manuals in collaboration with internal functions.
The position involves international travel and approximately 40-60 overnight stays per year as needed.
Your Background/Your Qualities
We are looking for someone with documented experience in sales through distributors, preferably 5-8 years, who enjoys an independent role with significant responsibility. You are a team player who works unpretentiously, is self-driven, and has analytical and strategic thinking. You are accustomed to planning, executing, and evaluating your work and making decisions based on consequence analysis. You have post-secondary education in a relevant field or have acquired equivalent experience through your career.
You have a good technical understanding and a high technical interest, as well as the ability to create good working and business relationships at various organizational levels. You represent Germa's values in a professional manner and communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Experience in sales work within the defense and security sector, medical technology, or public procurement is an advantage. Additional language skills in German, French, or Spanish are also advantageous.
