Crisis Preparedness Coordinator in Klippan Municipality

As a crisis preparedness coordinator, you will be placed in the municipal management department where you will work closely with the municipality's Security Protection Manager. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In recent years, Klippan municipality has devoted a lot of time and effort to advancing positions in crisis preparedness, civil defense, and security protection. We have a solid foundation to build on and are now looking for someone with great drive who wants to continue developing the municipality's resilience and robustness. There is a lot happening in our geographical area related to total defense planning, and we are looking for someone who wants to help shape this development.

You will play an important role as the coordinator of the municipality's crisis preparedness work. This includes coordinating, supporting, and guiding our operations in continuity management, exercises, and training. You will raise awareness within the organization about how we organize and function in the event of a crisis and ultimately war through knowledge-enhancing initiatives. You will work outwardly to stimulate our residents' home preparedness. Collaboration with associations and businesses will also be an important part of your work. Monitoring the environment and following developments is also crucial. You will continuously network with relevant actors such as our rescue service, counterparts in other municipalities, the county administrative board, and other relevant authorities. You will work closely with the municipality's Security Protection Manager, and together you will set a direction for your joint work.

QUALIFICATIONS

• You have a relevant academic background in areas such as risk and crisis management, political science, or equivalent.
• You have a good understanding of the municipality's responsibilities and role related to crisis preparedness and civil defense.
• You possess long-term planning skills and the ability to work with gradual development in the ongoing development of the municipality's civil preparedness work.
• You are socially skilled and have good communication abilities, adapting your message to your audience.
• You have experience in process leadership and are good at engaging with operations. Experience in guiding operations in continuity management is an advantage.
• You are good at networking and developing collaborations within and outside the municipality's boundaries.
• You handle an area characterized by high demands, changeability, and a fast pace by being strategic, composed, and able to prioritize your tasks effectively.
