About the position:

We are looking for assistants for a 15-year-old boy. His main interests are animals, especially dogs and horses. He has a cat when he stays with his dad, so you should not be allergic to pets. He enjoys riding, cycling, strength training, swimming, and listening to music. Singing, piano, and drums are also significant interests. He likes watching YouTube videos about building clay houses, repairing bikes, etc.

Since he spends a lot of time surfing the internet, he needs support and supervision when using digital tools such as an iPad, mobile phone, and TV.

He also needs help planning his afternoons and weekends when he is not in school, balancing between calm and more physical activities.

He has a great need for clarity, structure, and routines as he has an intellectual disability, autism, and ADHD.

We are looking for assistants immediately:

- On a need basis, which can lead to a permanent position.

- Substitute assistants

We are looking for you who:

- Are a woman or man, preferably 40+, with experience with children, especially those with disabilities.

- Speak fluent Swedish

- Have a driver's license

- Enjoy music and adventures, such as cycling and swimming, but can also take it easy when energy is low.

- Are tolerant of cats and not afraid of them.

What does it mean to work as a personal assistant?

Being a personal assistant means helping another person in their daily life. The tasks vary depending on the client's needs and daily condition. What the client does not need help with today, they might need help with tomorrow.

The work requires attentiveness and responsibility. The most important thing is your personal ability to create a safe and positive environment for the person you assist.
