Support Assistant at Kvarnfallsvägen Group Home

As a support assistant with us, you will provide our residents with individually tailored support in their daily lives and encourage and assist in leisure activities.

The work involves operating based on the residents' needs and wishes, which lays the foundation for the individually tailored support in the user's everyday life. Your work contributes to our users leading as independent a life as possible. Care work is included in the tasks, as well as quality assurance in the form of social documentation, implementation plans, and routines.

You will collaborate with users, their relatives/guardians, and staff in other operations. Our keywords in the work are motivational work, structure, network building, documentation, meaningful everyday life, and collaboration.

The job is suitable for you if you can work days, evenings, and every other weekend.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with support assistant training, a vocational degree from the nursing and care program or the child and leisure program, or equivalent education deemed comparable by the employer. You have experience working with individuals who have intellectual, mental, and/or neuropsychiatric disabilities. It is an advantage if your work experience is as a support assistant in the mentioned areas. A driver's license is desirable but not required.

As a person, you are responsible and have a respectful approach with the user's best interests in focus. You easily adapt to individuals and situations and have good collaboration skills and a pedagogical approach. You are driven, flexible, engaged, and attentive in your work style and contribute to a positive work environment.

Provided that you meet the mandatory requirements for the position, it is mandatory to undergo a digital language test to ensure competence at level B1 according to the Council of Europe's standard before the interview. Please note that the process will be interrupted if the language test is not passed. You will need to identify yourself with Bank-ID to take the language test. Kvarnfallsvägen group home in Sävedalen is one of Partille Municipality's LSS housing. The residences are adapted for individuals covered by the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons. Here, 6 individuals live in their own apartments. At Kvarnfallsvägen group home, we work with situation- and activity-adapted methods. With ongoing reviews of staffing, space is created for both spontaneity and a touch of luxury in everyday life. A working method that both staff and users enjoy.

You will be part of a workgroup consisting of 8 support assistants and one support pedagogue. Our workgroup also receives training/guidance from the municipality's four method developers as needed to secure work methods and enhance competence in the group.
