Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (The Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done.

As a personal assistant, you are a support in all parts of everyday life, which means you need to be attentive, patient, and have a calm demeanor. Our client enjoys doing things – from socializing with friends to taking a stroll in the city. It is also common to spend time together with both dogs and horses, which means you cannot be allergic to fur or afraid of animals.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• wants to work with a 52-year-old woman residing in Angered

• has very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

• is smoke-free

• is tolerant of pets

• is comfortable around horses as you will accompany the client on horseback riding

It is also an advantage if you:

• have previous experience in personal assistance or healthcare

• have experience with mobility impairments

• share the client's active interests such as swimming, horseback riding, and social activities

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is “as long as the assistance assignment lasts” with an employment rate of about 50%. The work follows a rolling four-week schedule with mostly day shifts. 08-08. On-call 5 hours/night.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations according to collective agreements.
