Alma Assistans is the dedicated company that collaborates with clients to create personalized assistance. We operate throughout Sweden with our headquarters in Uppsala and local offices in Gävle, Stockholm, Gothenburg, Helsingborg, Jönköping, and Växjö.

We are looking for a personal assistant for a 13-year-old boy with Down syndrome. He lives with his mom, dad, and three younger sisters in Landvetter.

You who are applying must be over 18 years old, love children, and enjoy spending time outdoors. We would prefer if you have a driver's license, but it is not a requirement. You should be responsible, empathetic, and confident in yourself. The family lives next to the forest and nature, where they spend a lot of their free time.

The shifts are scheduled every other weekend on both Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and weekdays from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM (with some changes during summer vacation and holidays).

You should be able to work independently but also in collaboration with the family. It is a plus if you have previous experience in personal assistance, but the most important thing is that the personal chemistry is right. If you have experience with sign language support or visual aids, that is also a plus.

We will require a criminal record check from the Police (LSS, work with children), as well as a certificate of employment from the Tax Agency for employment.
