At Gröna Villan AB at Björken's LSS residence in Trollhättan, you will have the chance to work with children and young people (ages 13–18) with autism spectrum disorders. We are a 24/7 operation that places the young people's self-determination and participation at the center – and now we are looking for you who want to help create meaningful moments with us!
About Björken
A place where every day makes a difference! Björken is a safe and structured residence for young people with autism spectrum disorders. Here we work with clear pedagogical methods and low-arousal approaches to create a predictable and meaningful everyday life. Our focus is on building trust and giving each young person the opportunity to feel understood, involved, and safe in their daily life. We strive to promote their autonomy and self-determination, so they can develop based on their own conditions. During the summer holidays, we fill the days with tailored activities that provide joy, community, and a sense of belonging – always based on their unique needs and interests.

Your tasks – every day is unique!
As a support assistant with us, you will:
- Support the young people in their daily lives – from ADL (personal care) to cooking, cleaning, and household chores.
- Create meaningful activities – inspire outdoor life, creativity, and healthy habits.
- Work pedagogically – help the young people manage challenges and develop individual strategies.
- Be a safe role model – with calmness, responsiveness, and flexibility.
We are looking for you who…
- Have a genuine commitment to the target group and enjoy building relationships.
- Are curious, creative, and enjoy planning fun activities.
- Have completed a child and youth program, care and nursing program – or have other relevant pedagogical education/experience with pedagogical tools.
- Master Swedish fluently, both spoken and written.
Meritorious:
- Experience working with children/youth with autism in care, school, or educational activities.
- Experience with pedagogical methods and tools.
Practical information
- Scope: 80%
- Working hours: Schedule (all times of the day)
- Salary: Hourly wage + OB compensation
- Start date: By agreement
