At the Adult Unit, there are a total of seven social workers, four focusing on harmful use and dependency (SoL and LVM), three social workers focusing on social psychiatry (SoL), one senior social worker, one coordinator, three treatment assistants, and one unit manager.

Your Assignment

As a treatment assistant in the Adult Unit's Dependency Team, your closest supervisor will be the coordinator of the team, who is also responsible for method development for the workgroup. You will have close client work where you are responsible for working, on behalf of social workers, to help clients live an independent life. You will work both operationally and administratively, meeting clients individually and in groups. The interventions can range from support with contact with authorities, healthcare, and relatives. You will also provide individual support and advice to clients to help them manage their challenges and improve their life situation. Furthermore, you will also be responsible for documentation in the operational system. You will also work proactively and with LVM-preventive tasks. The work is varied, where you meet clients both at our Open Care at Pontus House and home visits to clients living either in our accommodations or in their own homes around Härryda municipality. You will be part of a workgroup with social workers, treatment assistants, senior social workers, and the unit manager. The workplace is located at Pontus House in Mölnlycke. Requirements for the Position

Treatment assistant, or other education that the employer assesses as equivalent, as well as knowledge of and experience working with individuals within the target group for harmful use and dependency and comorbidity. You need to have a good ability to communicate and express yourself in the Swedish language, both orally and in writing. The work also involves collaboration with various units and authorities, which requires the ability to cooperate and clear communication. As a treatment assistant, you are engaged, calm, and secure, and have a professional approach. You should also have the ability to understand others' life situations respectfully and can see a holistic perspective. The work involves managing priorities, demands, and conflicting interests, making ethical considerations and decisions. It is important that you can plan your work in a structured and efficient way, ensuring that you complete what you have started. In the role, it is important that you are curious, want to develop, and have a positive and solution-focused approach in challenging situations. Personal suitability will be taken into account. A driver's license is required. To obtain employment, a criminal record extract from the police must be presented.

Meritorious:

• Familiarity with methods such as MI, VSS, ÅP, ISU, and ESL.
• Previous experience working in harmful use and dependency.
• Experience and knowledge of the evidence-based methods used in harmful use and dependency care.
• Knowledge/experience of the operational systems Combine and Treserva.
• Knowledge/experience of working according to the new Social Services Act, such as in the form of interventions without needs assessment, IUB.

To obtain employment, a criminal record extract from the police must be presented.
