The client seeking a female assistant needs help and support in her daily life. You will be the woman's extended arms and legs, assisting her in communicating with others. Since the woman lives in her own home, it is also part of your role as a personal assistant to support her in everyday tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and cooking.
Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and waiting time both weekdays and weekends. A portion of the time will involve double staffing with two assistants. For the position, which is approximately 75%, there is a rolling schedule over 6 weeks.
The workplace is wherever the client is, including at home, with friends, at the stable, traveling, and participating in activities.
You as an assistant should be easy to collaborate with, engaged, solution-oriented, and confident in yourself. Since the client's daily life varies from day to day, and thus her needs for assistance do as well, it is important that you are flexible. We also expect you to have an eye for detail, to be attuned to situations, and to maintain a positive attitude.
You need to be flexible for travel in the job, as the client sometimes wants to go away for a weekend or train at another location for a period.
