Adult Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic in Uddevalla

We need to recruit a social worker and staff for our clinic.

The psychiatric outpatient clinic is seen as the foundation of the specialist psychiatric services where the goal is to investigate, diagnose, treat, and rehabilitate in the patient's local environment as much as possible. The target group primarily consists of individuals who require psychiatric specialist care for conditions such as anxiety disorders, comorbidity i.e., mental disorders/diseases with concurrent substance abuse/dependency, as well as assessment and treatment of ADHD. We also provide treatment based on LARO.

You will join a workplace with well-established colleagues and a good work community. We are divided into teams consisting of doctors, psychologists, social workers, nurses, occupational therapists, psychotherapists, and secretaries.

Job Responsibilities

Qualified psychosocial assessment work. Assessment and treatment work with individuals, families, networks, and collaboration with other healthcare providers/government agencies. The work is both planned and unplanned, individual and in groups.

Qualifications

You are a trained social worker, and we prefer that you have completed basic training in CBT “step 1”. Previous experience in specialist psychiatry and leading groups is also meritorious.

You are structured, clear, organized, and flexible, and have a willingness to work and be part of a team. We value qualities such as good social competence where humor, initiative, and positive thinking are clear merits. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability and qualities such as cooperation ability and the ability to work independently. It is an advantage if you are a licensed health and medical care social worker or if you become eligible for such a license during the transition period.
