For over 20 years, Gryning has offered HVB and open care for children, adolescents, and families, emergency and foster homes, addiction treatment, supported apartments, interventions against honor-related violence and oppression, as well as LSS housing. We provide counseling and training and assist with placements. Gryning is owned by the municipalities in Västra Götaland through the four municipal associations.

The Hagen treatment home is located in Kullavik, 20 km south of Gothenburg, and has two treatment departments; Överhuset (7 places for youth aged 14-18) and Nederhuset (6 places for children/youth aged 9-14) with operations around the clock.

Hagen Nederhuset and Överhuset are now looking for hourly employees and summer substitutes.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

What does the position entail?

Depending on your educational background and previous experience, various roles may be relevant for you with us. Common to them is that you will function as a support for our children in their daily routines, creating safety and stability while working closely with your colleagues. Our work is carried out on behalf of social services and in close collaboration with the network that our clients have around them. We operate around the clock, which means you will work on a schedule with irregular working hours.

QUALIFICATIONS

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with at least a two-year post-secondary education, or an equivalent education, focused on social work, social pedagogy, or behavioral science. We prefer candidates with previous experience working with the target group. You are a role model and have the ability to create credible and stable relationships. You are part of the structure that clarifies and accommodates the children's issues and have the ability to create safety and predictability. Since the work involves travel, a driver's license is required.
