About the Job

Do you want to be part of building something important from the ground up? We are now looking for a secure, committed, and development-oriented team leader for our newly established security team.

Together, we create a safer future for children and young people in vulnerable situations.

We are facing an exciting development as we start a new security team within one of our resource units. The team will work according to the Signs of Safety approach and with the tool of safety planning, a structured and network-based working method aimed at creating safety and security for children who are placed or at risk of placement.

As a team leader, you will help shape the team’s working methods, routines, and collaboration both internally and externally. You will lead a team consisting of four family therapists and play a key role in quality assurance, method development, and creating stability in an important and close treatment effort.

Your main responsibilities as a team leader include:

  • Leading, supporting, and method guiding the team’s employees in the work with safety planning according to Signs of Safety.
  • Distributing assignments, introducing new cases, and being the contact person for families and collaboration partners.
  • Being responsible for follow-up, evaluation, and development of operations within the team’s mission.
  • Participating in network meetings and individual conversations with the team.
  • Contributing to spreading and implementing Signs of Safety throughout the entire administration.
  • Joining the unit's management group together with other team leaders.
  • Being on-call some evenings and weekends and providing support to the team’s therapists during their on-call shifts.

As a team leader with us, you will have a meaningful job where you contribute to long-term change for children and families. You will also receive a good introduction, continuous training, and external supervision in Signs of Safety. A work climate where collaboration, participation, and innovation are encouraged.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work or another behavioral science higher education. You also need to have good knowledge of applicable legislation (SoL, LVU) and at least five years of experience working with children and young people in treatment. To work as a team leader within the security team, you also need to have experience working according to the Signs of Safety method.

We consider it an advantage if you have experience from open care interventions, a systems-theoretical approach, solution-focused work, and network work. It is also advantageous if you have step 1 training in CBT. Experience in leading and/or supervising staff is a requirement for the position.

We see that you are a secure leader with a good ability to support, motivate, and lead others. You are responsible, collaborative, and structured, taking responsibility for your tasks and the group’s tasks. You think about those we are here for and their best interests. You work well with others by listening, showing interest, and respect. You understand the common mission and work to make it as good as possible.

Furthermore, we see that you have a good demeanor and are relationship-building, respectful, and clear in your communication. You are pleasant and helpful to others even in a stressful situation. You are flexible and responsible, with the ability to handle changes.

You are committed to children's rights to safety and want to make a real difference.

A valid driving license (B) is a requirement for the position.

Selection and interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis. We warmly welcome your application!
