Assistants Needed for Hourly Substitute in Trollhättan

We are now looking for assistants for hourly substitute work for a female client in Trollhättan!

The client is active and enjoys engaging in various activities during her free time. A requirement is that you are a good swimmer as the swimming pool is visited several days a week.

We are looking for someone who is responsible and has a strong work ethic. You should be flexible, cheerful, positive, and work well in a team that constantly strives to provide the client with the best possible quality of life. During the day, we always work in pairs, so there are high demands for good collaboration skills.

You should be able to work at all hours of the day, including awake night shifts. Currently, the shifts are scheduled from 07:30-19:00, 08:30-20:10, and 20:00-07:35.

Your Assignment

The client has extensive care needs, and you will be working with mobility assistance, personal hygiene, and personal care. For the client's health, it is important that you do not smoke during working hours. Working as a personal assistant means assisting the individual client and being their extended arms and legs, meaning you help the client with what they cannot do themselves. This can involve everything from personal care, hygiene, and household chores to accompanying them on various activities and outings.

Your Purpose

Your purpose is to support and facilitate the client's daily life, thereby creating a meaningful existence. The working hours are adapted to the client's needs and decisions, so it is important that you are willing to work days, evenings, and awake nights.

Your Background

We prefer that you have experience working as a personal assistant. To succeed in this role, you need to be in good physical shape as you will need to manage pushing/pulling a wheelchair and performing various transfers. Additionally, you should have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form. It is also an advantage if you have knowledge of brain injuries and epilepsy. As a person, you are empathetic and can quickly understand someone else's perspective or situation. Furthermore, you should be flexible and able to see opportunities in potential changes. Additionally, you need to be calm and able to maintain composure in various situations that may arise, and have the ability to focus on the right things.
