ABOUT THE POSITION

At Kura Omsorg, we are looking for someone who wants to work as a personal assistant. We offer a position at 80% with a fixed schedule as well as a temporary position at 80% from October to April.

The working hours are scheduled during the day and evening on weekdays and every other weekend.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is a 13-year-old boy with a twinkle in his eye who lives with his family in Vänersborg. He has cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and uses a wheelchair. As an assistant, you will help him with everything in his daily life, from personal hygiene and transfers to playing video games, which is his favorite pastime. In addition, you will accompany him at school on weekdays, and then the working hours will be spent at home or on various activities the family engages in together.

ARE YOU THE ONE WE ARE LOOKING FOR? 

We are looking for someone with a good heart. You have a sense of humor, a strong work ethic, are proactive, responsible, and enjoy working with people. Personal chemistry is what ultimately matters the most. Furthermore, as an assistant in this role, you should be prepared for manual lifting. Both the school, home, and car are adapted to avoid heavy lifting, but there are places where lifting aids are not available.

REQUIREMENTS

• Driver's license and access to a car
• Not allergic to pets as there are dogs and cats in the home 
• Non-smoker
• Proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience working as a personal assistant
• Experience with epilepsy
• Experience with cerebral palsy

Employment rate: 80-90%.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensations in accordance with collective agreements.
