Your Responsibilities

As a systems engineer in landing gear and hydraulics, you will work on the development and management of systems related to Gripen. Depending on your background, experience, and interests, your tasks will include:

• Systems development and design with a focus on functionality.

• Requirements analysis and reporting against customer and regulatory requirements.

• Systems safety work.

• Analysis and participation in verification, validation, and testing in simulators, rigs, and during ground and flight tests.

• Investigation of technical issues arising in customer operations.

• Development and management of devices in close collaboration with procurement and suppliers.

• Operational monitoring and product support of systems towards customers.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a university degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or equivalent. You have a strong technical interest and good collaboration skills. We see you as driven, proactive, and responsible in advancing your work.

Documentation and contacts in daily work are conducted in both Swedish and English, so you need to be fluent in both languages, spoken and written.

It is advantageous if you have:

• Knowledge in hydraulics and other mechatronic systems.

• Knowledge of calculations and simulations.

• Knowledge in data analysis.

• Experience in systems development.

• Experience in the aerospace industry.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may entail requirements for certain citizenship.

Application Procedure

This is initially a consultancy assignment for 6 months with a good chance of extension and possibly a takeover by Saab. Start is immediate or as agreed. Due to the Christmas and New Year holidays, processing times may be longer than usual. Feedback will be provided as soon as possible.
