The unit is responsible for overall governance, planning, and follow-up of the unit's responsibilities related to the areas of Enforcement, Release Preparation, and Transport.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The section for Transport and Electronic Monitoring plays an important role in the digitalization strategy of the Prison and Probation Service to achieve its goals. We are in an exciting phase of digitalization focused on mobile applications, and we are now looking for someone who wants to influence this development.

You will be part of a team with great collaboration where we support each other and ensure we succeed together. Continuous learning is an important part of our successes, and there will be time to familiarize yourself with the working methods and techniques we use in the area of mobility.

As a mobile app developer with us, you will:

• Develop and maintain mobile applications using .NET MAUI as our primary framework, but also other frameworks, both cross-platform and native, depending on specific needs and requirements.
• Work together with other developers, architects, requirements analysts, UX designers, and other stakeholders within the Prison and Probation Service.
• Be part of our digitalization journey and contribute to improving how the Prison and Probation Service works with mobile apps.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

• A post-secondary education in IT, such as a computer engineer or system science in a relevant field - or equivalent acquired experience deemed relevant by the Prison and Probation Service.
• Several years of work experience in system development within C# .NET.
• Work experience in developing mobile applications with .NET MAUI, or native iOS or Android.
• The ability to express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish.
• Good knowledge of .NET MAUI or Xamarin.
• Good knowledge of Git.

It is a merit if you have:

• Experience with iOS and/or Android.
• Experience with Flutter or React Native.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD.
• Work experience in working with security-critical or operationally close systems.
