Your new position

As an On-site Support Technician, you will be responsible for creating a stable, secure, and user-friendly IT environment for the client's employees. You will work closely with end-users to ensure their technical day-to-day operations run smoothly – both in individual workplaces and in shared areas such as meeting and conference rooms. The assignment requires physical presence on-site in Linköping and is a full-time position.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide on-site support where remote assistance is insufficient.

  • Install, configure, and deliver computers, phones, and other client-side hardware.

  • Ensure that records and inventory management for hardware are kept up to date.

  • Handle VIP cases and deliver fast, professional service.

  • Document cases in the knowledge database and case management system.

  • Perform systematic troubleshooting of client environments and peripherals.

  • Support colleagues in other locations during operational disruptions or security incidents.

  • Provide support for printers, conference rooms, and shared technology.

  • Contribute to high quality in the local on-site delivery.

  • Create and update instructions and user guides.

Your background

We are looking for someone who thrives in a practical and social role where you meet users daily and solve technical challenges. You are structured, meticulous, and have a strong sense of service. To succeed in this role, we prefer that you have:

  • Experience in IT support, preferably in larger organizations.

  • Good understanding of Windows environments, client management, and networks.

  • Knowledge of troubleshooting hardware and peripherals.

  • Good command of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Experience with ITIL processes and case management systems is a plus.
