Communicator for the Education Administration in Stockholm

The Education Administration in Stockholm is Sweden's largest administration with over 16,000 employees.
The administration is responsible for all approximately 170 municipal primary and secondary schools within the city of Stockholm.
Welcome to us
We are 16 people in the communications unit who together coordinate and develop the communication work within the administration. We see communication as an important tool to achieve the administration's goals. We provide support, both strategically and operationally, to managers and employees in their communication. Through our work, we aim to help students in our schools achieve good results and facilitate the work for all teachers and principals in the city. We also want to contribute to making the city's schools an attractive workplace.
We are now looking for a communicator who is passionate about creating clear, user-friendly information and who wants to help strengthen the schools' brand. Your role
As a communicator in the education administration, you will make communicative assessments and priorities based on the needs you see in the organization or determine in consultation with managers and employees.
You will:
- provide strategic, operational, and communicative support to managers and employees, both in the proactive work of planning and implementing communication initiatives and in the reactive work of handling questions, challenges, and needs that arise
- ensure clear, relevant, and target group-adapted communication that strengthens understanding, engagement, and collaboration
- work closely with colleagues in similar roles to develop and coordinate communication.
Your skills and experience
We are looking for someone who has:
- a university or college degree in communication and information or another education that the employer deems relevant
- several years of experience as a communicator, preferably in a larger and complex organization
- experience in analyzing target groups and identifying needs, as well as developing and implementing communication strategies based on target group analyses and customer journeys
- experience in planning and leading meetings, workshops, and dialogues with colleagues, reference groups, and various target groups
- knowledge of and experience in change management, including planning and implementing change communication
- experience in leading and coordinating communication efforts within larger change initiatives
- strong language skills with very good Swedish in speech and writing, as well as the ability to write clearly and target group-adapted
- experience in publishing and editing on websites in publishing systems such as Optimizely and Umbraco.
We consider it an advantage if you have:
- experience in public operations
- worked professionally with social media and have translated insights into concrete improvements.

We recruit without a personal letter in this recruitment to strengthen the focus on the competencies and experiences required for this role. In assessing your application, we will only consider your CV and a number of questions you will need to answer when applying for the position. In this recruitment process, screening tests will be used in the selection work.
As we approach the Christmas holiday, tests will be sent to candidates who meet the requirements in week 2, and selection will take place during week 3. We will not be able to respond to emails during the period of December 19 - January 7.
