We are now looking for an assistant to the employer issues department, and the role is suitable for you who want a varied and relationship-building role where service and structure are at the center.
About the role 


As an assistant in the employer issues department, which consists of 16 people, you will have a central and very important role. You will primarily support the unit manager and four lawyers. The days will vary but will mainly consist of:

  • Assistant to the unit manager - arranging meetings, seminars, and conferences
  • Assistant to four lawyers – providing support regarding court processes, preparation of materials, summaries
  • Being the spider in the web and maintaining the structure of the department regarding vacation lists, welcoming new employees, buying gifts, booking travel 
  • Independent responsibility for case management - new goals, central negotiations, file setup, and archiving
  • Organizing meetings and conferences for the department
  • Supporting Region Mitt with tasks such as course administration.
  • Managing contacts with member companies and representatives from various organizations

Who are we looking for 


We are looking for someone who wants a varied and relationship-building role where collaboration, service, and structure are at the center. We see that you have at least five years of experience from similar work, that you feel comfortable with the entire Office suite, and are an experienced system user.

You are used to planning, coordinating, and conducting meetings and conferences with high quality. 
In the role, you will have many contact points, both internally and externally, and we are therefore looking for someone who thrives in a networking environment where service, collaboration, and professionalism are a natural part of everyday life.

As a person, you are meticulous, structured, and have an eye for detail, while also being flexible and able to collaborate easily with others. You have high integrity, a strong service focus, and contribute positive energy and joy to the workplace. You want to be part of an engaged team with high ambitions, where everyone supports each other and enjoys what they do.

You express yourself very well in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.

Teknikföretagen is an employer and industry organization for industrial and tech companies such as Volvo, Ericsson, Saab, AFRY, and ABB. Together, the member companies account for one third of Sweden's exports and approximately one million jobs globally. Through collective agreements, legal advice, and political advocacy, Teknikföretagen contributes to strengthening the competitiveness of over 4,500 member companies. 

The employees in the employer issues department negotiate central collective agreements with IF Metall, Unionen, Sveriges Ingenjörer, and Ledarna. The department also represents member companies in central negotiations and court cases. An important task is also to influence the design of labor market regulations both at the EU level and nationally. In addition, the department develops various informational and educational materials and conducts conferences, webinars, and seminars on current issues.



 
Application


The position is a permanent employment that begins with a six-month probationary period, located at Östermalmstorg in Stockholm. Here you will work in a stimulating environment alongside engaged colleagues. In this role, you will work from the office, although there is some possibility to work from home.
