What does the role of an interim consultant at Aspia entail?

As an interim consultant, you step in where your expertise makes a difference – during vacancies, change projects, reorganizations, or recruitment processes. The assignments vary in length and complexity, giving you the opportunity to constantly develop and gain new perspectives. We match assignments based on your experience and background, mainly with clients in the Stockholm area, but sometimes also in nearby locations. Some flexibility is required, and travel may therefore occur.

To thrive in the role, you need to appreciate variety and quickly adapt to new environments. You are confident in your skills, unpretentious, and have a consultative approach. You see opportunities, build relationships, and create value for the client – even when the circumstances are challenging.

Examples of tasks with our clients:

• Ongoing bookkeeping
• Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements, annual reports, and tax returns
• Bank and account reconciliations
• Documentation and development of processes and routines
• Analysis of results, forecasting, etc.
• Simplified group accounting

We are looking for someone who has:

• An academic degree in finance or equivalent
• Very good knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting
• Experience in preparing monthly and annual financial statements independently
• Good knowledge of K3 and IFRS
• Strong skills in Excel

Preferred qualifications:

• Independently prepares annual reports
• Experience in group accounting
• Experience in various industries and larger companies
• Experience with larger business systems, e.g., SAP, Unit4, or D365.
• Experience from the consulting industry
• Knowledge and experience in using AI tools in finance and accounting, for example, for automation, analysis, or streamlining processes
